Obtaining CAM table entries from a Catalyst 6009/6509 using SNMP

I am trying to obtain the CAM table entry for CAT 6009/6509 switches but to no avail. I tried the OIDs as given on the CISCO SNMP tips page but do not get the expected results. Do I need to install the BRIDGE-MIB.my file in order to walk through the mibs?

You don't need to install the BRIDGE-MIB on the switch, it's already in the agent. Make sure that you're following the tech tip properly and also aware of community string indexing as explained in that tech tip.

Try walking the dot1dTpFdbTable - I use this to build up a database of MAC address to port mappings.
