One DHCP for multiple Vlans

Hi everyone,

I have to configure dhcp on cisco 3750 series switch. But dhcp pool must be per vlan means each vlan member must get their respected subnet's ip address.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Hi

Just configure multiple DHCP pools on the swtich, one for each subnet:

ip dhcp pool DHCP_POOL_1
 network 192.168.0.0 /24
 default-router 192.168.0.1

ip dhcp pool DHCP_POOL_2
 network 192.168.1.0 /24
 default-router 192.168.1.1

And a good idea is to exclude statically configured addresses on these subnets:

ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.10
ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.10

And remember that you need an SVI on the switch itself that acts as the DHCP-server for it to be able to lease addresses.
