OSPF and Secondary IP addresses

Hi,

I have an OSPF issue I'm attempting to resolve in lab. I'm using a 3640 router with two ethernet interfaces....e0/1 to 2924xl (which is representing our internal LAN) and e0/0 which I'm using two IP addresses on (one which represents the e-biz side and the other that represents the corporate internet access side of the network.

e0/0 is connected to another 2924xl (which is just being used as a passive hub and has no ip address) which then splits off to two 2611 routers representing the e-biz and internet routers.

My issue is that I can't get my 3640 to talk OSPF with it's neighbour on the SECONDARY IP address side.

I've tried using the same as well as different OSPF areas for both subnets to no avail.....

Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated..........

Thanks,

J

OSPF will not establish neighbor relationships using secondary ip addresses .

Ah........thanks for your help. Another couple of interfaces it is!
