What is the proper way to decode/translate the above. Seaching cisco's docs, I know that it's a checksum error for a Type 5 LSA concerning 207.5.175.0, but I'm curious as to the src. 192.168.142.130 is the advertising router in this case, and is remote to primary-r1, the router generating this log entry. 192.168.128.44 is local, and also a member of area 0. As this is a Type 5 LSA, meaning an external route, my guess is the syntax is:
[date] %OSPF-4-BADLSATYPE: Invalid lsa: Bad LSA chksum Type [lsa type], LSID [lsa in question] from [lsa origin], [packet origin], [interface packet came in on]
My second question is whats the recommended corrective action for the above?
