We have 2 VLANs on our CAT4006's. 1 for our Data network and 1 for our Voice. We are having a problem with our IP Phone on the voice VLAN where they are getting address from our DATA scrop of our DHCP Server and then getting a Voice Address after. We have 1 DHCP Server on our network. Our Cisco 3640 router does the VLAN routing, it also has our DHCP Server as the IP Helper Address.
Our DHCP Server has scopes for both data and voice address and it sit on the data vlan.
Does any body have any idears? or should i just put a voice dhcp on the other vlan? How do other company set up there address for VLANs

What software version are you running? Take a look at CSCdx66655

I believe it affects all CAT OS. Try upgrading to 6.3(9)
