Output Drops on Serial Interface configured for Frame-relay

I notice Output drops on serial interface which is configured for Frame-relay. WFQ is being used on the interface. I have disabled IP Fast Switching on the interface, but that does not seem to solve the problem. There are no Input Errors or CRC errors on the circuit.

Can anyone help me solving this issue?

Re: Output Drops on Serial Interface configured for Frame-relay

hi,

perhaps this drops are frame-relay traffic-shaping drops ?

check it with "sh frame pvc xy"

it also could be that this dropped paket are from a flow with a low precedence

and wfq forwards the other pakets first - if the outputqueue is full, the router has to taildrop pakets !
