Output errors on GE interfaces increase rapidly on Catalyst 4908G-L3

we have a Catalyst 4908G-L3 where the ouput error counter increase rapidly on all interfaces. We counted on one interface 52 output errors in 6ms. Other errors are not seen on the interface. We are runnning IOS 12.0(7)W5(15d). please find a sh int bellow.

GigabitEthernet2 is up, line protocol is up

Are you seeing any performance impact or is it just cosmetic? If it is cosmetic take a look at the following bug

If it's affecting performance, what connects to this interface? Also you are running a very old IOS for this box, consider upgrading to 12.0(18)W5(22b
