PA-A3-T3 Coax Run

I have a PA-A3-T3 in a 7204 Non Vxr. The LEC is installing my DS3 in a 10 story building, but will only put the DS3 shelf on the first floor.

So my question is will it be ok to run about 250' of coax to my router from the telco's DS3 equipment?

If this is ok, would anyone know the best wire to use, like Beldin part etc.

Lastly if the coax is shielded should the shield be terminated to ground at both ends or should one end remain off for drain purposes.

Thank You,

Rod

Hi, Rod,

Yes, this is OK.

You can use any industrial standard coaxial cable.
