PA-FE-TX without handles

I have a PA-FE-TX that does not have any handles. I believe it came out of a CX-FEIP-2TX. The part # on the card is 73-1376-03 rev A0. I am trying to put it in a VIP2-40 that is in a 7505. When the router boots, I get traceback errors, and the card is not reconized in the VIP2-40. Can anyone tell me if I can use this card in anything but a CX-FEIP-2TX? Here is the errors I receive from the VIP2-40:

Re: PA-FE-TX without handles

I would suggest using the Hardware-Software compatibility matrix tool. I find that very usefull.

I have used the matrix with a 7513, VIP2 and port adapters, and it is very useful at identifying minimum levels of IOS and also, if the module is not listed, it might be an indication that it is not supported.
