PA-GE BANDWIDTH POINTS

Hi i trying to use two PA-GE over a CISCO7206VXR but when i try to add the second one occurs a bandwidth point problem.

I believe that the bus capacity it's not enought.

Can somebody explain me what happend if i use a CISCO7507 with RSP4

it´s the backplane capacity good enought?

What can i do in order to use two PA-GE in the same chassis.

Thank you

Re: PA-GE BANDWIDTH POINTS

Need to put one one each side. Cannot exceed 600 pnts per side.

The Gig PA's are 400 pnts each.

7500's do not work on this Bandwidth point system but do have limits to the bus speed. Depending on what type VIP's, if the traffic stays on the VIP or must go accross the backplane, these PA's are placed and the RSP type will determine pps forwarding rates.

Hope this helps,

Don
