I am experiencing exactly 50% packet loss across my GRE tunnels. Anytime i ping from the tunnel interface it happens. If i ping from any other interface i have no problem. I also am unable to ping the tunnel ip address from the router, but am able to ping everywhere else including across the tunnel. Using the tunnel is impossible because when i go to access a computer on the other side of the tunnel there is too much packet loss.
Am i missing something here? When i ping from the router exactly every other ping times out even if i extend the timeout interval, Any suggestions?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
