Packets broadcast that should be switched

I am see packets that should be fully switch that are going to every port on my network! After sniffing, the packets have source/destination MAC addresses and are even in the same subnet, yet the packets are going everywhere, bringing my network to it's knees!!

Are you sure that the destination MAC address is an address of some device in your network? If not, it might be a multicast problem or something like that.

I don't know what your switch is or how it is set up but remember that a switch/bridge forwards a unicast out all ports if it doesn't know on which exact port the destination MAC resides. Maybe your ARP cache is aging out too quickly or something along those lines.
