at the moment in our OSPF network we have two links between two different locations in place. The active one with 256 kbit/sec, the inactive one with 32 kbit/sec. Now we intend to activate the second one to seperate the business critical traffic from the non-critical traffic.
For this we 're searching for a solution to solve this problem.
I recommend that you use route-maps to separate critical traffic from non-critical. With route-maps you can send traffic in the way you want. You can make decisions on port, ip-adres and source etc etc.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
