Passwd recovery(Local)

hi all

one of our isdn customer has done some R&D with his router by changing the authentication on both console and vtys.eariler ther was a passwd set but he changed the login to local without setting any username or passwd.is ther any way out to break this out ????its 803series router.

Here is the recovery procedure that works for the Cisco 803. It requires that you be attached to the serial console and restart the router.

The procedure shows you how to reset the enable secret, but the important part of the procedure is that, at the point you can set the enable secret, you are in enable mode and have temporarily bypassed your broken AAA configuration. While you have enable access to the router, use that opportunity to remove or repair your broken AAA configuration, or add local users for authentication, or whatever you need to do.
