With Windows NT the Break signal is not the usual (how for Windows 95,98...).

Could you tell me which is the sequence (Break) that I must do for recovery the router passwords with NT?

Even if you follow steps from Cisco website, it still may not work for you. In my case, I was unable to send Break from Windows NT to the 6509 msfc card. The only solution I found was to download Telnet program from the third party. I used Advanced Telnet.

Break signal actually works in Windows 2000.

Here is a little weird way to make the 'break' signal from Windows Hyperterm.

Change the communication speed to 300 or 1200 in Hyperterm properties.

Turn on the router. Press 'Ente'r or 'space' key several times until you see some strange characters. Change the communication speed back to 9600 and your router should now be in ROMMON mode.
