Password using MD5

Hi,

I have to use MD5 on all my password. I know I can replace "enable pass" with "enable secret". How do I replace line con and line vty password with MD5 encryption? Thanks.

use command service password-encryption

but the password is still passed as clear txt using that command, not MD5 encrypted.

You can do a login local on the console and VTY ports and configure username and password using MD5 encryption.
