Pc card on sup error

Hi Expert!

when i have insert the pc card inside the sup 1 and i issue the command dir slot0:;i have received the following error:error = -24

Open device slot0 failed (bad device info block).the pc card didn't contain a key protection.

try formatting the PCMCIA card. It does not look like it's in the right format.

ok;what they mean by enter volume id when i issue format slot0:what can i write in this field

Just press enter, nothing is really needed to put in volume id, it like naming a hard drive.
