performance degrading

We are using in our company a 3Com Superstack router in order to access our ISP. The core is provided with a Cisco 3640 router. These two routers are directly connected.

The Internet traffic goes well for about 2 or 3 hours. After that, we have a poor quality to access the Internet. It is not a problem on ISP.

If I reboot the 3Com router everything became normal and the parameters are optimal.

What happened?

Thanks

Re: performance degrading

Look at all of the things in your traffic flows that can eat up memory. I recently saw a problem where a routers performance was degrading after too many active NAT translations built up. Basically, too much was being asked of too little a router.
