Permit Frames with RIF Field in Transparent Bridging

Is it possible accept frames with RIF field when we are using just transparent bridging? The solution with SRB is not valid in our enviroment...

I have experience with at least one TR switch (3com)that did not support that feature. If you post the model of the switch, a more definitive answer may be possible.

My understanding is that transparant bridging will always drop frames containing a RIF.
