Hello ,
I need to take a city map picture as a background in network map to identify locations of devices in the city - how to accomplish this in Cisco Works 6.1 ? Thanks.

Are you referring to Whats Up Gold v7.03 application above that comes with CiscoWorks Windows v6.1?. If so, then here's how to use a bitmap (.bmp) file as background for a map:
Go into Edit mode.
- In the draw toolbar, click on the "Place Image" icon. This icon looks like a cactus and is between the "Text" and "Line Color" icons.
- Click and drag a box on your map. The Image properties dialog will pop up. Select an image OR browse to the location where you have saved your one image to select.

And what if I have CiscoView V5.4? Is it posible to use an image as a background?
