Hey all,
We have a network running PIMv2 Sparse mode carrying video. Its runs very well but when we try to switch streams it takes around 30 seconds to start streaming the videos. Theres lot of delay involved in the switchover. Any experts here on PIMv2??

Are you using ACL's for PIM SM router's?
Are you using IGMP snooping on the access switches? Did you define the Rendevoz POints?
Did you try to make a mroute and see what is happening? check the Multicast table for troubleshooting.
