Pings originated from CW

Are there any other modules than UserTracking's "Ping Sweep" function that generates icmp traffic? We have a solaris server with LMS2.1 that sends

ping requests AND snmp requests into a network that has definitely been

masked in "discovery settings". We can do what we want: the server still sends the ICMP request into the 192.... network. RME has no devices beginning with 192...

Any ideas?

What about device fault manager?

Thanks. Thomas.

AVPoller also. Disable Availabililty Poller in RME too.

To stop ping sweeps you can alter the file ANIServer.properties by adding the syntax UTPingSweep=0

This file is found in c:\CSCOPx\etc\cwsi
