PIX-501 discarding DHCP Relay Agent messages

Hi,

I am trying to qualify a PIX-501 router to be used in a new product line.

The problem that I am having is that the PIX is dropping the DHCPDISCOVER relay packets.

The way that our product works is that first we send a regular DHCPDISCOVER message (ethernet broadcast) and then we act as a relay agent to other equipment connected to us.

The PIX is our final DHCP server. The first DHCP packet receives a good answer from the PIX. But any subsequent relay packets sent to the PIX are discarded.

I am attaching samples of both packets as seen in a network monitor.

See included attachment...

Any ideas why the second packet is discarded?

Thanks,

Re: PIX-501 discarding DHCP Relay Agent messages

From my analysis, the dropped DHCP packets could point to an access control list. But still since you say the first packet is not discarded, could you send me the whole configuration file for further investigation?
