Hi Norung,

Do you mean the software version ? In that case, simply issue the command 'show version'.

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Hello,

I show version but i can't see firmware version on the pix 515e.

How can i do?

Any reply is appreciated.

Norung

Is there a particular component on the PIX that you want the firmware version of ? The PIX runs software, not firmware, and that is what you see with 'show version'

Norung

please excuse me for not following the entire conversation.

i was just wondering what you are referring to as a firmware. i usually use the term pix os and pix firmware referring to the same thing. so v6.2(2) would the answer you are looking for.

Hi Jackko,

Thanks for your reply. But I still wondering that why the Cisco router's IOS and Firmware software are different and Pix's OS

and Firmware are the same.

Norung
