In the 6509 and 6513 switches, does it matter where you place the line cards. The SUPs have to go in certain places, but what about the uplink GBIC cards or line cards? Is it better to place them in certain slots to accomodate the architecture of the data place -- or something like that?
I DO know that certain 6513 chassis slots do not support fabric enabled cards ( or something like that), but I am not worried about it, because I am only using the 6513 with the SUP 32 module, which does not support fabric-enabled cards anyway.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
