Placing 350 Aironet adapter in monitor mode

I have a 350 Aironet adapter in a laptop that is running a packet capture program. The Laptop is running RedHat Linux 8.0 and the application is requiring that I place the Cisco wireless adapter in monitor mode. I can't seem to find how to do this, please help.

Re: Placing 350 Aironet adapter in monitor mode

There is no way to configure 350 wireless client cards to "moniter" mode via drivers for the card. That has to be controlled by the sniffer application. So sniffer/packet capture application should be able to configure the eth interface (350 series card) in that mode.

I have used "AIRSNORT" sniffer program on unix to capture eth frames using 350 series card..
