Hi everyone I'm planning to make my network little bit complex for people to log in,i'm new in this network but what I saw is the network is configured in a way that everbody who go in to the router and make changes, when I do sh ver it will say the last peron who do changes was this person on each and every router we use same username and password.so i'm thinking of because we cant go to each router in sites nda configure each one of us username and password so that the router will say who did the changes at what time, what is the other way of doing this.can you please explain so that I get the picture
I think you should start using TACACS/RADIUS server. You will configure all the users and passwords in one AAA server (e.g. RADIUS server), and then configure the router to use this server for telnet/console login.
In all you're routers you should configure :
aaa authentication login default group radius
Then, you should configure all the users and passwords in the RADIUS server.
