Please help me what modeule installed in the AS5200.

I want to identify what hardware module installed in the AS5200. please guide me based on the “show version” or what information required to identify.

- 1 Eth

- 2 Serial

- Dual T1/PRI

- I’m not sure for 24 teminal lines and 26 serial network interface.

The 26 Serial lines is a combination (total) of your 24 terminal lines and 2 T1/PRI ports.

Looking on show version, AS5200 have two serial ports. 2 Channelized T1/PRI ports and 24 digital modems, 1 10M ethernet port.

Now that 26 serial network interfaces is because of 2 regular serial ports + 24 channels from one of the T1 controller which you may have configured for PRI signalling. That totals 26. Now i can gurentee that the other T1 ports is in "shutdown" mode or not configured for pri. Type "sh run" to confirm. So those 24 channels (serial interfaces) belongs to that 2nd T1 card is not added to 26.

Once you configure other T1 port for PRI, after that "show version" will report

24+24+2=50 total serail interfaces.

24 terminal lines represent 24 modems (line 1 24 in "sh run")
