Poll: Cat3750 vs Cat4500

Have an opportunity to redefine our core, which currently consists of several 3508's. Converged environment (voice/data), multiple VLAN's, approx. 500 hosts including wireless.

Needs/wants include: GigE to some hosts, L3 on the switch, better redundancy.

Would like to know community's thoughts on using 3750's as core devices versus a 4507. Primarily looking for "field"-based merit, caveats, or some overlooked statistic, but all comments welcome.

Any concern over single instance of IOS/CatOS used in the chassis products ?? Example, load IOS version A to fix problem X, only to stumble into problem Y, etc.

Thanks

Please refer the data sheets of both...

Because of your networks is a converged one, I could recommend to go for 4507. But if you feel no much scalability in future, then go for 3750. Because 4507 can scalable up to 384 ports.
