port-channel on 2924XL

Hi I want to configure a port-channel on a 2924XL. Altough it completes me the command when I press the TAB, I'm not able to configure a port-channel interface. I always get this message: chNGswM2(config)#int port-channel 0

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

I already changed the software, but it didn't help. So what is wrong?

Hi Peter,

afaik, on a 2924 you don't create a logical interface but just add each interface to a port group, like this:

interface fas 0/1

port group 1

interface fas 0/2

port group 1

The command "show port group" will give you an overview of which interface belongs to which port group.
