port channel statistics question (PAgP)

on my CAT 4006 I have my RSM in slot 2 and my sup II is in slot 1. When I do a 'show port channel statistics' command the output I'm getting looks like my 2/1-2 channel is not exchanging the PAgProtocol? Does this mean the 2 Gig ports are not properly channeled?

here is my output....

CORE-A> (enable) show port channel statistics

Port Admin PAgP Pkts PAgP Pkts PAgP Pkts PAgP Pkts PAgP Pkts PAgP Pkts

Group Transmitted Received InFlush RetnFlush OutFlush InError

----- ------- ----------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------

1/1 1 33933 33933 0 0 0 0

1/2 1 33933 33933 0 0 0 0

----- ------- ----------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ---------

2/1 2 0 0 0 0 0 0

2/2 2 0 0 0 0 0 0

CORE-A> (enable)

As you can see port 2/1-2 have ZERO Tx Rx packets.

when you use the port channel mode on on both sides of the channel , then no pagp packets will be transmitted between the channeling ports.

This is different when you use another channel mode like desirable for example.
