Port fowarding on 678

Hello,

I have a Cisco 678 DSL router, and have very little experience with Cisco products. I changed to Static ip's recently and need to remotely access one IP. I have a client software that should connect, but it needs to have two ports forwarded. Is this done at the router, or by my IP provider? They have'nt been very cooperative so far..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

thx Walter

You can configure 678 for port forwarding..We call it a static PAT for inside and outside ip address. Here is the url for more sample config on that
