What is your management VLAN? fa0/13 is in VLAN 1.

Also is the PC and the management VLAN ip address in the same subnet?

!

interface Vlan1

ip address 172.20.5.14 255.255.0.0

no ip route-cache

!

ip default-gateway 172.20.5.33

----------------------------

PC's ip address - 172.20.7.11/255.255.0.0

dg-172.20.5.33

Can you paste the output of "sh int vlan 1". Are you able to ping the defaut gateway 172.20.5.33

(1) From the 2950

(2)From the PC

Also are you seeing this problem only from a PC on fa0/13 or other ports affected as well?

# sh int vlan 1

From PC- failed.

When i insert cable from that PC into another port - port fa0/19 -LAN is accessable!

Strange-i reloaded switch - and now port fa0/13 is accessable!

Hello,

our customer has experienced frequent occurence of this problem. The only solution we know is reload, which is not always acceptable. Since there is arout one hundred of 2950 in customer's network, I feel very anxious :( .Does anyone know better solution?

Thanks
