Does anyone know if their is an equivalent of the port protected feature (that is in the IOS for Catalyst switches) in the CatOS? Is the CatOS on the way out or is Cisco still going to continue to release new versions of IOS and CatOS for switches?
Thanks,
RJ

The Protected Port feature is a cut-down version of the Private VLAN feature, which some (many?) CatOS switches support.

Thanks for the post. I see the pvlan command was available in v6.2 for the CatOS for the 4000 switches. I need this command for the 5000 series switches. I looked in v6.3 and v6.4 of the CatOS which I believe are the last versions supported for the 5000 and I did not see that the command existed.
Is this correct?
Thanks,
RJ
