Power Outage on network devices (cisco ASA 5520 and 3845).

Hi Guys,

I just had an outage at my place for about 9 hours. The outage took down the network devices and also did a power up by itself after power was restored.

I was wandering if there are logs (and where would it be) and/or some sort of command to see if it actually went down and how long did it stay down?

Hey,  Run the command 'show

Hey,

Run the command 'show version'. It gives you  the device uptime.

- For logs you need to configure syslog server.

- Configuring SMTP Traps, the device sends alerts the moment the device goes down/up with reason.
