Hi!!!
Can anyone tell me why when you configure a serial link (T1) with encapsulation ppp and you issue a show ip route always appears for that serial 2 routes directly connected: the one that you configured, and the other side link as a host route (32 bits of mask). I suppose that is the normal behaviour of a point to point link but is possible to remove that route from my routing table and so make the router not to propagate this route to other routers? (without filters and tricks like those)
Hope i was clear with my problem.
Thanks!!!!!!
Regards everyody!!!!!!!

Hello,
the host route is indeed always installed on PPP links, it is default behaviour. To remove it,
configure the serial interface with the command:
no peer neighbor-route
and do a
clear ip route *
to see that the route has been removed.
