PPPOE over WLAN

Can this be done...

[Client]<---wlan-->[AP]<--eth-->[cisco1700]<---serial(leasedline)-->[3600(nas)]

What i'm doin is to enable pppoe over wlan. Can cisco AP bridge the

client to the nas. What are the requirements and settings for the AP/1700/3600

??

Can anyone give suggestions please.. thankss :)

Re: PPPOE over WLAN

I assume PC running PPPoE client 3600 as aggregator for PPPoE tunnel, you need to have 1700 doing bridging..

But the better idea will be 1700 with PPPoE client and 3600 as Aggregator(something like PPPoE over serial)..So serial port getting dynamic or static ip address on 1700 and you can use NAT for the PC's connected on the ethernet WLAN..tejal

Re: PPPOE over WLAN

But i still want the client to be able to dial using a pppoe dialer using their

pc/laptops. I checked out cisco pppoe guide and it mentioned about bridging.

Could i use the 1700 to do bridging over the serial line ? :)

The examples show how cisco 1417/827/SOHO77 configured to do bridging.

But all of them are configured for connecting to a dslam.

Would it work wit my configuration. Instead of have a dsl line(or ATM)

i'll be using a serial ppp leased line instead.
