PPPoE using cisco

I'm trying to deploy PPPoE to my broadband customers.

My dsl all running on ip. Is it possible to configure my cisco 3600 router that connects to a dslam via ethernet to support PPPoE?

CPE<--dsl-->DSLAM<--ethternet-->3600<==E1(30km)==>POP

The cisco3600 router has a fastethernet and a serial E1. I'm asking this because all the cisco documentation refers to the need of an ATM interface/network.

Must an ATM network be present for me to deploy PPPoE

on my network??

Re: PPPoE using cisco

No, pppoe is supported on ethernet interfaces.

But you'll usually need the correct featureset (at least IP Plus) and a T-image.
