PRI for 3620 router

If I have a 3620 for HQ with about 90 remote offices to dial in.

For HQ, if I were to use PRI (30 channels each), to cater for the remote dial.

For PRI, physically there is how many cables to cater for the 90 channels.

Is there any difference in configuring the PRI and BRI interfaces ?

Is there any sample configuration on this ?

Re: PRI for 3620 router

PRI supports 30 channels - Thats a fact, but the 30 channels are not send or received on 30 physical wires...The channeling is done in the PRI framing. Each channel can be looked upon as a time slot. So PRI physical layer is a 4 wire line. To accomodate 90 channels, you will need, 3 PRI lines.

Re: PRI for 3620 router

Ofcourse there are some differences in configuration of a PRI and BRI interfaces. PRI = 30 B + 1 D( in europe and asia), while BRI - 2B + 1D

Some sample configs are found here...
