There are two things here : configuring the "backup interface dialer0" on both ends and configuring the dialer string.
We can do without having the backup interface command on each end...as soon as the primary link goes down, the dialer will come out of the standby mode (if configured as backup int) & go to up/up spoofing mode.
Regarding the dial string on both end, will depend on which end can/ needs to trigger the call (interesting traffic) ...there could be a situation that the RtrB wants the link up to send traffic but does not have a number to call to but RrtA has the dial string but does not have any interesting traffic to initiate a call. So based on the setup requirement we can add dial string on both ends or only one.
