PRI timeslots

Hi All,

Anyone seen this before, I've a 2811 router with a PRI card, but can't configure the timeslots from 1-31 ... It's used as a gateway for a CCM ... am having issues with the PRI and some channels are getting blocked and having funnies with the CCM as a result.

Not sure if it's a hardware fault or IOS.

PRI lines are not allways fully switched-through.

You may also have an ISDN15 for example. This means that you can use only a subset of the B-channels.

Please verify the specs of the line with your service provider.

Hi Leo,

Will be on site week after next ... am going to update the IOS and bring along another router with PRA card ... it's a primary net5 and telco telling me it should be a full 30 channels ... they can see 3 bad channels, which they are saying is caused by my equipment ... going to try get a PRI tester also ... just wanted to check if someone else has seen this before.
