Recently we started to allow users to access a centralized internet over a 56k pipe at the remote end. Of course when people started to download emails etc we had response time issues on the AS/400 green screens which also use the 56k pipe to access teh AS/4400 . To help I did the following
priority list 1 protocol ip high tcp 2065
which did the trick. Now here is my issue. Due to more changes the citrix traffic is actually more important than dlsw traffic so now I want to make the dlsw 2065 medium.
I have removed the priority group from Serail 0 .
I have deleted the prority list completely from the rtr.
I have tried to put it in as med ,but the darn thing keeps going to high.
Yep , I deleted ea and every line, then did a wr mem. Then added from scratch. I even cleared the dlsw circuits and kept the controller on the AS/400 down so there would be no established circuits and it still kept going in at high. I even tried to make a new # in case the rtr is smart and knows that list 1 was orginally at high.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
