Has anyone try using priority queueing on a multilink interface consisting of two serial interface. The router accepts the configuration but when I try applying the priority-group to the individual serial interface I get "Must disable ppp multilink configuration first". The Multilink interface accept the command OK.
Does priority Queueing works with Multilink interface ?
With MPPP, a bundle interface is created to serve as the bundle master; it's this interface that you can control the queueing on. The physical interfaces (which will be sending the MPPP fragments, and NOT the original data) will ALWAYS use FIFO, in order to try and ensure that packet delivery is in order. So if you want to configure PQ, you have to do it on the multilink or virtual-template interface.
