Priority Queuing problem

Hi

The following is my priority queueing configuration

access-list 1 permit 1.20.0.2

access-list 1000 permit FFFFFFFF 4

priority-list 1 protocol ip high tcp telnet

priority-list 1 protocol ip low

snmp-server community public RO

is it correct? or the "priority-list 1 protocal ip low" will overwrite the everything and drop telnet?

Thanks

Raymond

Re: Priority Queuing problem

With priority queuing, the scheduler will service High queue packets first. Once high queue is empty only then attention will be given to low priority queues.

In your case, you wont lose your telnet connections. Since you have multiple rules for a single protocol (IP), just make sure your order appears the way you have pasted above, high statement should appear first in config.

Thanks.
