All articles I have read report that etherchannel is not supported to dual homed NIC's when enabling a Private VLAN. I am not sure the age of those articles and wonder if this has changed? the quote for guidelines to the link is below as well as the most recent link
you are right. still looks like there is no support for etherchannels on private vlan ports.
