Problem applying Service-policy on MPPP dialer

I configured DiffServ EF and AFs class in a 3640 12.0.5T9 and trying to apply on a 640 kbps (10 B channels) Multilink PPP dialer.

The LLQ priority class is only 200 kbps (far from the 75% rule), but when I apply the service-policy output MyPolicy on the dialer interface, every B channels go down and consequently the service-policy command is removed from my config.

Any idea ???

Re: Problem applying Service-policy on MPPP dialer

Use virtual template for the

b-channel bundle and apply the policy to the virtual-template

interface.

The dialer interface would not see the other b-channels as bundled and the max reservable

bandwidth on a dialer would be 48KB i.e 75% of 64KB. putting 200

is over the top for the dialer and that;s why you have the issue raised.

using virtual -template should help with this issue.
