problem with fastethernet port of cisco 3662 router

hi all,

we are having cisco3662 router at one of our branch office.one day we found that fastethernet was up but we were not getting the ping. we shutdown and open the port again and we were getting ping.after 2 to 3 days the same thing repeated and we did the same..thenafter when we checked the fastethernet port is was showing 674076 packets output, 115581987 bytes, 0 underruns(8284/34450/81).and the valuse are increasing continuously. we are not able to understand what it indicates..please guide us to solve the problem..

this sounds like it could be a bug in the IOS software you are running on your router. Can you show the output of 'show version' ?
