Problem with isdn dialou

this is the error message i m getting while manually trying to dial a bri.is this the problem with Layer 1(physically down) ??

Looks like it. Check "show isdn status" to be sure.

Gather the following.

show isdn status and show isdn service prior to placing the call.

while placing the call capture:

debug isdn q931, debug isdn event

its showin as activating and goes deactivated when i issue sh isdn status while its trying to dial.

Spremkumar, what was your resolution for this? I'm having the same problem. I'm getting ready to call the isdn carrier to verify that it's no on my end.
