problem with reverse telnet on IBM AIX

hi

customer use 3640 with asynchronous ports (reverse telnet) to connect on console's port of IBM AIX servers. (3640 as console server) in order

to manage Server remotely

all work great except when customer issue a restart/reboot of Aix servers

from reverse connection :

symptom:

Aix server go in maintenance mode and need an manual intervention to be rebooted.

i saw already article about Suns Server issue with Reverse Telnet but nor

with IBM servers

is somebody already see this problem ?

any input will be welcomed

Be patient. I had this same problem I will get with my cabling guy and get some part numbers and pinouts tomarrow.
