Problem with upload

We are facing a strange problem. We have isdn and Leased Line connectivity with an ISP.Leased line is terminated to cisco 1751-v router and isdn is terminated on Zyxel router.

When we try to upload to our ftp thru Leased line...we can not upload files with .hdr extension. We are able to upload other files. Problem is only with .hdr files. However when we try the same through isdn, we are able to upload those .hdr files.

And one more thing is some downloads are not happening thru Leased line...but same download is happening thru isdn.

There are no access-lists in our router as well as in isp router to deny these traffic.

At isp end both leased line and isdn are terminated in the same router.

We checked the traceroute from both isdn and Leased line. Both are taking the same path to reach the destination.

We enquired with isp also... there is no filtering done for the packets.

Pl help me to resolve the issue....

It is possible that the site you are sending the hdr files to cannot find a path back to you when you go out the leased line.

1. can you send other types of files to the same site through the leased line?

2. are you using the same public ip addresses when you go out both links?

3. how are you forcing it to go out the isdn and how is the isp handling the routing failover?

1. can you send other types of files to the same site through the leased line?

Ans: We are able to send other types of file to same ftp server through Leased line. If we zip the .hdr file we are able to upload.

2. are you using the same public ip addresses when you go out both links?

Ans: We are using different ips to leased line and isdn. When we traceroute to the destination, packets from both the connections are taking the same path.

3. how are you forcing it to go out the isdn and how is the isp handling the routing failover?

Ans: We are using isdn as backup to leased line. Whenever leased line goes down we connect the isdn line to zyxel router and start working.

In both cisco and zyxel we have static route. At isp end they have a PRI line, where our isdn will get connected.
